Why The Airseal Damper?
ENERGY SAVINGS: The main feature of the Airseal Damper is the positive shut off, minimizing the volume of air leakage to less than 0.001%. This is a significant improvement over the conventional damper. Eliminating the leakage of air affords better control of the intake or exhaust air. The result is large energy savings, by removing the need to heat unwanted cold air and keep heated air Inside the building.
LOW MAINTENANCE: Unique to the Airseal Damper is the cam-follower mechanism for control of dish movement. It is a no linkage system with few moving parts requiring no adjustment. Dish control is very positive eliminating vibration and fluttering during initial damper opening.
QUALITY CONSTRUCTION: The all welded damper frame and spun dish are fabricated from durable 16 gauge G90 galvanized steel for corrosion protection. The cam-follower castings are made of a corrosion resistant zinc-Aluminum alloy. Other features include maintenance free roller bearings and a 10 year warranty on the neoprene gasket.
