Specifications:

All units shall be manufactured to design specifications.
• All units and controls to be Factory Tested
• CETL and ETL Approved

Construction:

Unit casing shall be of standard 18 Gauge galvanized.
• Access doors shall be provided for fan, motor, filter and damper sections.
• CETL and ETL approved gas manifolds and controls are provided.
• Unit shall be provided with standard liftout access being secured with camlock fasteners.
• Hinged access doors are an option with piano hinge and secured by camlock fasteners. Duro-dyne SP-20 or VL-210 Ventlok handles are an option.
• Rain gutters are provided on outdoor units over the access doors.
• The unit shall be supported by structural or formed channel. Integral lifting lugs are supported as required.
• All units shall insulated with 1” (1 1/2 Lb./CuFt) neoprene backed insulation. Other types of insulation and inner liner are available upon request. • Inlet hoods are standard with 1” galvanized inlet screens on the air intakes.
• Roof curbs are available

Fan Construction:

Units contain Centrifugal Fans with AMCA Standard Test Code, Bulletin 210.
• All fans and fan assemblies shall be dynamically balanced.
• Forward curve fans of 18” or less diameter shall have permanently lubricated cartridge ball bearings supported by a 3 point “spider” bearing bracket.
• Forward curve fans greater than 18” diameter shall have greasable pillow block bearings.
• Airfoil and other types of fans are available.
• Drives shall be adjustable on fan motors 5Hp or less and fixed pitch on fan motors greater than 5Hp.
• Motor mounting shall be adjustable to allow for variations in belt tension.
• Motors shall be open drip proof type (totally enclosed is available).

Burner Section:

The burner shall be Gordon Piatt or Maxon inline type burner.
• The burner gas train comes standard with a modulating butterfly valve, fail safe shut off valve(s), main and pilot pressure regulators and manual shut off valves.
• IRI and FM Manifolds are available.
• The controls and the gas manifold shall be contained in the control cabinet.

Controls:

The following safety devices are included:

A) High Limit
B) Air Proving Switch
C) Flame Proving Sensor

• Unit shall start from exhaust fan. Interlock by others.
• The discharge air temperature shall be maintained constant by a discharge air sensor, which modulates the fire rate motor.
• The unit shall have a state of the art W7760A Building Manager System.

Heat Exchanger Section:

Indirect fired heat exchanger section is designed with aerodynamics and acoustics in mind to give the chamber a longer life and quietness.

• The heating section shall be a positive pressure two or three pass heat exchanger with a stainless steel primary and secondary heat exchanger.
• The heat exchanger shall be free floating for ideal stress relief.
• The secondary heat exchangers shall have a condensation drain.
• The burners shall be Gordon-Piatt or Maxon In-line burner
• The burner shall be able to modulate with 15 to 1 turndown. Two stage furnaces are available.
• The heat exchanger casing shall have minimum 1” insulation with 20-gauge galvanized solid liner or perforated.

Filters:

Filter sections have adequately sized access doors to allow easy removal of filters.
• The standard type filter is 1” Permanent Washable with and option of having 2” Replaceable Media filters with galvanized steel frames or 2” Pleated filters. Other filter options are available.
• Filters in the inlet hood shall be easily removed from tracks.

Dampers:

Damper shall be low leak parallel blade galvanized steel construction. Manufacturer shall be Ruskin or equivalent.

Coolbreeze’s indirect fired units can be custom designed to meet any air handling applications such as Kitchen Heat Reclaim, Evaporative Cooling, Condenser applications. Built to Automotive Standards and any other custom applications requested. See the C-Series.
