Thermal Acoustical Panel:
The acoustical panel comes standard with a “Slip Lock” tongue and groove type connection, see the attached drawing. The standard panel thickness varies from 2” to 8” increasing by increments of 2”.

Thermal Acoustical Panel Construction:
The standard construction for the Thermal Acoustical Panel is 18 gauge G90 galvanized steel outside casing and 22 gauge G90 galvanized steel perforated sheet inside casing with 16 gauge G90 galvanized steel support channel and AW 2.5 Lb. Density / 950 degree or Partec 1230, 3.0 Lb density / 1200 degree acoustical mineral wool insulation. Panels casing can be manufactured to a maximum of 14 gauge galvanized steel.

High Transmission Loss Panel (HTL): construction varies with the specifications. Generally, the construction will incorporate one or two layers of 5/8” gypsum board and large panels will be ribbed for rigidity

Thermal Acoustical Plenum Accessories:

• Acoustic Doors: size of the doors to be determined by the contractor / engineer.
• Windows: Wire reinforced single or double glazed windows, sized to suit.
